Think once again, has the war really ended. No... the war hasn't ended. It is now reaching to its heights & peaks. Earlier this year and last year, we have seen series of bomb blasts around the country - Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Assam, Gujarat. And now, not just blasts, but long lasting firing, hijacking buildings and holding hostages. Today it is Mumbai that we have witnessed. Tomorrow it will be some other city, probably our own city. Not probably, intelligence sources have already confirmed that the next targeted places by the year ending would be Hyderabad, Goa. Not just intelligence report, the terrorists themselves are telling this in their public messages given to media and attacking us. The terrorists claim us to do what we can to stop them, but they will still continue to harm us, harm public, and harm India.
So what has the government done or going to do to stop them,
What has the police done or going to do to stop them,
What has the media done or going to do to stop them,
What have we done or going to do to stop them???
India needs to awake; we have to stand-up and stand strong to fight these terrorists. It is we who can fight this terror. If you are strong, you don’t need any of the above mentioned forces or support to save you. I am not asking to take law into our hands or have guns in your hands to kill them. Before these terrorists strike, we need to be pro-active in stopping their strikes. They need to know whom they are dealing with. All we need to do is,
- When in public, keep a watch on people and their any unusual activity.
- Watch-out for any bag, packet, lunch box or any box lying unattended. Don’t go near it.
- Call the police control room (Ph. No.:100) and inform about this. Let’s hope they respond quickly to it.
- If you find around any police person, a constable or even a security person, inform them about this.
- Let the persons around you know about such thing.
- It may or may not be a bomb, but this will bring in some caution in the terrorist’s mind. Who knows, he might be in between us or watching us from somewhere.
Let us do our job. Let us try to save ourselves, the people around us. There is a hero in all of us, you don’t need any film hero or superhero to save us or this country. We all together can and need save our country. This is our nation, this is our land.
Let us not blindly depend on our worthless government to help us. Government will not come to help us. They are busy saving themselves. When Mumbai was under attack, what did the central govt. Our so called beloved Prime Minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh just gave a condolence speech and got back busy campaigning for the Delhi elections. People were in a state of shock on seeing Mumbai's situation and this so called Prime Minister was busy in begging votes for his party. Who wants to vote and have such disgusting & worthless leaders & parties? Intelligence report says next target would be Hyderabad. All you hyderabadis out there, do you find any difference on the roads or any busy center around from earlier. Answer is NO, because the govt. has put aside this issue. In situations like this, the police has to be highly alert, patrol the roads day and night, frisk the malls, theatres, busy centers, stations, bus depots. Mock dramas that happened recently at Secunderabad Station will not help us. I don’t find anything happening like this.
That means it’s upto us to handle things now. Please be attentive, watch your surroundings, be pro-active to call the police when you find something unusual or unattended anywhere. Please don’t give a blind-eye or deaf-ear to your surroundings. Please take out from your mind this attitude of “Someone will call the police, why should we bother and get into mess”. It’s your own life as well as others life that would be in danger. By calling the police you are not getting into any mess, you are helping in cleaning the mess around. Please take this as a responsibility. Be a responsible citizen of this country.
My eyes went wet when I was watching the Mumbai war on TV. Innocent people have been killed for no reason, the trauma and tension those hostages went thru those again for no reason. The entire nation was shocked to see what Mumbai had gone thru. I truly salute from heart to those dare-devil police officers, and NSG troop Major who lost their lives in this battle trying to save the innocent. May god give their families the strength to comeback from this shock. Let us not allow another such attack to take place, let us not allow another family to lose their beloved ones, let not your family lose you.
You might be thinking, who am I giving so much bhashan. I am not giving you lectures or anything. These are just my feelings and pain.
I am just a common man.
A common man like you.
A common man who will stand and fight for his/her right to live.
A common man who will stand and fight for his/her surroundings to be safe wherever they are.
A common man who will stand and fight this terrorism irrespective of religion and caste.
I am just a common man. I am an Indian.
